Good hair days may come and go, but Chanel is for ever.

If like me, you love your pearls, you understand the excitement.

I was delighted to find this little gem, to bring my pearl collection into the 21st c. Although I do tend to visit my hairdresser (or my sister, she is very handy and just needs the right bribe/motivation) when I need a more formal updo, this version is easy enough to execute on my own.

It’s best to start with clean hair, in excellent condition. My own hair is coloured and treated within an inch of its life, One hardly, remembers the natural colour any more…
To restore my hair to its bouncy, shiny happy self, I use elasticer by philip Kingsley. Use Weekly and ideally leave treatment on overnight.

Simply the best product out there…

I have also tried oleoplex with good results, though it is significantly more expensive. In my view do not waste your money on oils (marocon oil for example or coconut oil) They may work short term, but eventually, they just sit on the surface, making your hair heavy and greasy.

I wear this casually now with dark jeans and a bracelet sleeve pullover. Easy everyday glamour – to elevate those dull hair days.

Gorgeous! You are on the right photo,no?
Unfortunately,my hair is not long enough for such a glamorous messy Chanel chignon, but I would be very happy to use The Perl for a pony tail or a ballet chignon
I’m very pleased with John Frieda Freeze Ease line (or Paul Mitchell )
