Countdown to Valentines day: who doesn't love this? Lady Beatrice in her London hideaway retreat.
Need I say more?

Do not let the cuteness factor fool you though. Lady Beatrice, (otherwise known as ‘the kitten that hit the jack pot’, is quite a handful).
This year we are not going for the usual pink flowers, chocolates and extravagant meals out. Instead we are showing true love by giving a small donation to save the wild elephant. And I sincerely hope we do, before it’s too late…

Elephants are highly intelligent (stress on highly) and capable of forming close bonds. What we as humans refer to as ‘love’. It’s heartbreaking to see them being hunted into extinction because some strange people would like to have objects made from elephant teeth, decorating their very ugly living rooms. Money and awareness is needed, so if you can, please spread the word.

What a wonderful idea, donating for Valentines day, and I’m sure Lady Beatrice approves (as long as it does not affect her Valentine’s day treat!) So sad that in my lifetime so my wonderful creatures are, or have already, vanished. Although I believe in a vibrant human world, I see no need to overpopulate it to the point where our animal friends are pushed out. Sorry, I digress.

Thank you for your insightful comment Virginia darling. We ve got prince Charles on our side, as he is also campaigning for wildlife. Speak soon and thank you for all your kind support- lady Beatrice sends her love too, even though she is not really keen on the wild elephant.
